With the mountain of a TBR that I have, re-reading is not a bookish activity I really do. But I have re-read before so I’m grateful to be tagged by the delightful Brianna @ Brianna’s Books and Randomness in her original tag!

A childhood favourite you could read 100 times and still love
This can’t be a surprise if you’ve seen my other posts! I think Anne’s adventures are so timeless that re-reading this would feel like wrapping myself in a blanket and transporting back to a simpler time.
A book you DNF’d but would be willing to give a second chance
I mentioned this in my post about the books I DNF’d in 2019, but the main reason I put this book down was because I wasn’t in the mood for a fluffy romance. But what I did read I really liked so I would be happy to pick this up again when I’m craving some fluff!
A newer favourite you would reread
This is a new favourite that I’d love to re-read! I didn’t want to leave Arthur and the kids, so re-visiting the island would be great.
A book you hated and never want to read again
I have a lot of books that could fall under this prompt, but ASIC is a new addition. I’m mostly mad at myself for not just DNF’ing this when I wasn’t feeling anything–not the story, not the characters, not the mystery.
A classic you read in school but want to try again
I would like to try 1984 again after reading and really loving Animal Farm. Maybe I’ll appreciate it more without academic pressures.
An author you would reread anything from
(What an awesome author photo!) This Rachel Hartman, author of the Seraphina duology and Tess of the Road (which is one of my all-time favourites). She writes chunky books but her worlds are so well-crafted that re-visiting them would have you discovering new parts you didn’t notice the last time.
A series you want to reread for the fun of it
The Old Kingdom series is a lot of fun, what with all the death and necromancy! I jive with the aesthetics and I love the characters, particularly the animal companions.
A series you want to reread for an adaption
The BSC got a Netflix make-over, which I really can’t wait to watch, but it also makes me want to re-read these books again!
A book you’ve read but want to listen to the audiobook
At least with the audiobook, I might have gotten through this book sooner and maybe the narrator would have made me like Eleanor.
I tag you!
