[Book Tag Tuesdays] The Wedding Tag | Bookending Spring 2020

Bookending Spring

In all the “excitement” around the COVID-19 quarantine, I missed the start of Bookending Spring! But luckily with the Easter break I can try and make up for some lost time, starting with a book tag, of course!

  1. Answer the prompts.
  2. Tag some friends.
  3. Link back to this post, and be sure to mention the creator (Sam @ Fictionally Sam)
  4. Have fun!

Something Old – What is the oldest book on your shelves?

I don’t even recall how this book ended up on my shelf. I don’t remember myself or my mom (the only likely suspects) buying this book.

Something New – Your last book/bookish purchased/received

Right before the quarantine hit, I’d ordered these two books, which did manage to get sent to my home without issue.

Something Borrowed – A character you’d borrow for the day

I mean I’d like to borrow Circe for the forseeable future! She’s used to being isolated in one place and I’d love to learn about spellcasting in the mean time.

Something Blue – A book with the word “blue” in the title

I tag anyone who’d like to give this one a try!

    1. It’s worth a re-read! Charlotte is voyaging on a ship to meet her parents in America (I think) and along the way she realizes that sometimes the person society pegs as the good guy isn’t always the good guy and the people society pegs as the bad guys aren’t always so 😛 I remember it being fun even though historical fiction is not my go-to!

      1. I’ll have to keep my eye out for it! It’s funny, I used to love historical fiction, but now when I find out a book is set in any other time it’s almost an automatic pass.
